Summer Arts Camp 2018

Welcome to the Richmond Area Arts Council's 2018 Summer Arts Camp! RAAC will host four weeklong camps for students during June and July.  Each of these amazing camps will be taught by experts in their field and will provide students with a quality, fun-filled week with students their own age.  Tuition for each weeklong camp is $200.00. Click the below Summer Camp you would like for your child to attend and follow the instructions to apply.  There is a 5% sibling discount for each camp.  Registration opens on May 1st!

Under the Sea with Creativity– June 11-15, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
Children in grades kindergarten through 5th will enjoy over 50 creative sessions with our two camp leaders, Kayla Harned and Devon Rosenblatt.

Guitar Camp – June 25-29, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Children in grades 3 through 6 will be able to have some fun while learning about the guitar.  The camp leader is RAAC's guitar instructor., Henry Schrader.  Additional instruction will be provided by Randy Westbrook.

Creatures of the Forest, Air and Water – July 9-11, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Children in grades 4 through 12 will have two different camps to enjoy this week! Pick from either puppetry camp or watercolor camp, or you can do both! Adults are encouraged to attend as well!  The camp leader for watercolor camp is nationally known artist Pat Banks, and the camp leaders for puppetry camp are Richard and Mary Brown, the owners of Puppets and Such.

Theatre Camp – July 23-27, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Children in grades 5 through 12 will get to participate in Schoolhouse Rock Jr: The Musical! Two performances will be conducted on July 27th.  The musical will be directed by Sarah Evans.
